Precision Water Resources Engineering is proud to announce that our Utah Colorado River Accounting and Forecasting (UCRAF) team received the Best Paper Award at the World Environmental & Water Resources Congress (EWRI) for the paper, “Development of the Diversion Runoff Calculator to Estimate Agricultural Water Consumption and Irrigation Diversions at the Field- to Basin-Scale in Northeastern Utah,” published in the Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering. The effort was led by Mike Follum with Follum Hydrologic Solutions, our key subcontractor on this project. The recognition highlights the team’s innovative work advancing agricultural water-use estimation and basin-scale water management tools in Northeastern Utah. Team members traveled to Mobile, Alabama to accept the award on behalf of the Colorado River Authority of Utah, Central Utah Water Conservancy District, Follum Hydrologic Solutions, & Precision Water Resources Engineering.
