PWRE tours CUWCD's system!

Six members of the Precision team were privileged to participate in a private tour of the Provo River section and Utah Lake System (ULS) of the Central Utah Water Conservancy District system.  Starting at the upper lakes in the Uinta Basin headwaters and working our way down the river to see transbasin import tunnels, the inner workings of the Jordanelle and Deer Creek dams, and into the Olmsted Power Plant near Orem, CUWCD staff graciously and thoroughly took the Precision team through the major facilities in this complex and important Wasatch Front water supply system.  Many thanks to CUWCD for making this informational and enjoyable tour possible!

Precision helps conduct technical workshop for the WMOP Project in Reno

Precision was privileged to participate in helping to organize and conduct a three day technical workshop in Reno, Nevada for the WMOP Project. A variety of organizations were in attendance including the Bureau of Reclamation, the California Department of Water Resources, the Federal WaterMaster, the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, the Truckee Meadows Water Authority, the US Army Corp of Engineers and many more! The workshop went well, and this project continues to be innovative in it’s approach to answering questions related to the trade offs between water supply and flood risk.
